I loved the F and would have happily kept it but after experiencing a 4wd launch (0-60 in 3 seconds, 0-100 in 6 1/2 seconds) I just feel like I need AWD. I considered the GT-R, but honestly, the GT-R next to my IS-F looks like a down grade. The 997 Turbo S next to the F seems like only a small upgrade (but unfortunately, a huge upgrade in price).

With 0-60 numbers under 3.0 seconds, I have NO DESIRE to mod. I just don't need anymore power. The thing was clawing for traction up to 60 mph with awd!!! It has the carbon ceramic brakes too and centerlock forged alloy rims. I don't even want to "tune" it. Keep it stock - factory warrantee for another 2 years!

I know it's probably going to sound horrible... but I am having snow tires mounted on it right now. Yeah, I'm going to DD it everyday until the thing croaks.
You sir are my hero. DD a supercar FTW!

Once I get back from fishing (going to Abacos), I'll post up some pictures of the car.
8%? Ours is 6.25% for cars. Hmm, so 8%...that's $35,640. Not bad. Post pics, and I'll talk to the wife.

Congrats on the upgrade! It is a bit sad to see a long time IS-F forum member leaving.

I was interested as well but it's too late, he's trading it in today. What a waste of some very nice mods!

Hey guys, it's a done deal... Wife is peaved (she didn't know about the S) but she's mad cuz I didn't get her anything. Oops. Quite honestly, I was in the process of getting rid of her Prius and Superbee for an 2010 X5M but they couldn't get it done on time! The plan was supposed to be her picking me up at work and boom! S for me and M for her. But last minute I found out M wasn't ready. Oh well... she'll get over it.

BUT, it was the BEST Valentine's day EVER for me! I'll make it up to her - we're going on vacation and I'll be a perfect husband/father.

The 2011 is a Turbo S with AWD. It comes factory with carbon ceramic rotors, 19" rims with a center nut (never felt sooo good to only have one nut). Other than that, not much else - but I'm not needing anything more. No pictures yet. Sorry, but you can pretty much google it since it's stock.

It's in excellent condition - the previous owner babied it for 7K miles. Even the tires still have the rubber pins sticking out at the corners of the tires - was never cornered hard. The brakes show NO wear - must've just cruised around the country.

I traded in the F for it - tax savings and no hassle. Just for those interested in it or the parts, they are Midwest Motors in Lake Zurich IL. They're possibly going to make it stock again (I guess they can't sell an off-road vehicle) so call em up and offer something for the PPE black ceramic headers WITH Denso A/F sensors, or the 2 pc rotors, or the coilovers or the borla catback. They're going to want your stock parts in exchange (except the headers - I kept and gave them the stock ones).

C'mon madastep, get an S!

My wife was "meh, I like the Lexus more" then I put it into Sport + and gave it some gas. 2 seconds later, I put it back to normal and she said "oh, it's fast" She thought we were doing like 40 but I said no honey, we're going 60 already. I know she'll forgive me...

Just checked out pictures of the S on their website, man does that look awesome. Congrats! You need to bring that thing to some Supercar Saturdays this summer. Anyway I am emailing the dealer, and hopefully I can pick up the header and brakes from them. Good luck with the amazing new ride!
