Where do you guys mount your cellphones?

No, i don't text and drive I do get alot of emails and texts throughout the day and need to respond to emergencies. So having the face of the phone in plain view is desired. I can't seem to find a mount point without making it look silly, or blocking gauges/buttons etc.

Since ISF gps isn't the greatest, I use a cell phone mount. you can see the suction cup below... It doesn't obstruct vision cause it sits near the left pillar. Got mine from www.extremepda.com

 

My iPhone slips in the ashtray perfectly. I can glance down to see any incomming messages.

 

I use text, email, vevo, internet, GPS... all while driving. I have a big phone (Droid DNA) and the only spot that I've found that works, without a mount, is on top of the cigarette lighter dock right in front of the clock. I can have it charging as well and still see the whole screen. I dunno if you can visualize that.

 

Check out proclipusa.com. They make mounts and holders for just about anything and they are quality pieces. The one available for the 2IS mounts on the passenger side of floor console.
