I feel like 08s are going up in value from a few years ago as people realize how bad *** they are

(I wonder if it's a good deal that I got though I already got the car... )BTW, i haven't introduced myself to the public yet... i just joined the club membership yesterday!!! and am still getting used to the search button... if i ask any noob question, please be tolerant with me.. lol!! I'm amazed by the hp of this car since I came from a 11 GTI. THANK YOU and I'm really happy to be part of the family in this club!
Welcome! I picked up my 08 on Feb 4th! Pics or it didnt happen on yours

I think it's more that the 08 is the cheapest option, and there aren't a huge number of them. So as people ****** up the cheapies, the overall price slowly climbs.

I know there were people who picked up isf two years ago for what people are buying 08s for now with similar milage... The age of the car seems to be lossing effect compared to milage and I would agree that may be due to the limited number. I have had my 08 since 08 and been on here from isf day one. I can't believe the deals. Have seen over the four years

This car is holding value very well. I signed up for automatic price updates with kBB (which I know isn't 100% accurate but still a good gauge) where they email you when the price fluctuates more than a certain percentage point, the last update I got the value actually went up lol. I have a friend with an 08 M3 sedan that for ****s and giggles I put through KBB and it seems that I should be able to get about 5k more than him with basically the same mileage. Gotta love it !

i picked up my 08 CPO with full hood, fender bumper clear bra for 41995 plus TTL and 2010 wheels. 23k miles on it. they where asking 45k. i brought in a carmax ad with similar package miles and the year was an 09. I told them beat it by 500 or ill go to carmax. They ended up matching it. I cant be more excited.

A month ago I bought a 2009 with 40k miles for $42.5k. Immaculate condition and is USB in color...

It does feel a little high for a 2008, but if it's the right car, it's the right car!

I bought my 08 USB with around 22k miles I think for 35k + TTT about a year ago. I did a few things to it shortly after like brakes and a new year bumper (mine had a tear that was annoying me) and I extended warranty out all the way for a little under 2k. So if you add that all up I was at around 45k OTD a year ago. I have seen the prices on these go up lately too the one I saw at the dealer was a USB 08 with 30k or so and they wanted 45k for it. Which maybe me wonder how much they wanted for the 2012 they had parked next to it.

I will throw in that I am looking at an 08 SGM ISF with 17K miles and the dealer said $42,000 before TT&L was as low as they would go. This is a CPO car with a 3yr/100,000 warranty. I haven't decided if I want to make a move on it and really haven't tried to negotiate the price. I simply asked via email what there number was to move the unit. Just posting this in case it's beneficial for the OP.

JDM & WebSoCal - thanks, and I'll definitely post some pics after I get it detailed! I've been beaming since I got it, and am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. The IS-F does everything well, and then some.

Question: are any of you IS-F owners previous IS 2/350 owners? My last car was a 350, and I don't know if it's the larger hood or what, but the IS-F feels like a bigger vehicle. Anyone agree?

congrats man! my wife's previous car was a 250, which i drove quite a bit. yes, looking out at that bigger, bulged hood does make the car feel bigger. it's definitely heavier. plus w/ the heavier steering feel in sport mode.. the F is gonna be a little wider, too. not sure about the length.
