Don't take this the wrong way but it seems like ur not in the poor house with the cars u have owned and the $$ u have put into them. I am curious why u didn't just spend a little more and buy an F with no issues and a previous owner who cared about the car. If u bought a project car on purpose then I see why but it seems like ur not happy with this car and will spend $$ u shouldn't have to spend if u would have just bought a different car. I mean no disrespect to u, just curious

cuz im an idiot....and i hate waiting, two Isfs were sold in my area before i had a chance to go look at them....and considering i paid 33k for the car I didnt mind a few bumps in the road. and this dealer offered me 3k more for my Gl450 than anyone else did...lol i guess they really wanted to get rid of this ISF. honestly I swear there was no differential niose when i test drove it but Im guessing it didnt help that the roads still had snow on them when i test drove it.but i did take it on the highway and took it over 100 to make sure it felt tight, to me it drove fine. and i never even looked at the lug nuts when i bought it....I guess i learned a lesson that things usually are cheaper for a reason.

and to me theses things are minor. maybe 400 to get the lug and studs back to stock.. and if the rear differential is making noises thats still under factory warranty. the body is in excellent shape not one door ding and a clean carfax. so, so far ( knock on wood) these are minor issues but agaain i do very much thank everyone for all the reponses and help. kinda hoping i need a new rear differential and might just say screw it and have lexus put in the new LSD and ask if i can come up with the difference.

Sounds like a potentially expensive wheel replacement.

i bought a great set of used oem lugs on club lexus for 25 shipped. studs are about 1-2 dollars each and takes about an hour after putting your car on jack stands. very easy to do. its more under 75 bucks to fix that.

the rear diff, you have a warranty so you should be good to go. i would still fix those studs first jut so lexus wont deny you for any reason.

Smart move. Why give them a reason for denying the repair.
