Confusion about xm instal for my 2008 isf
I know I'm beating a dead horse here. But some of the previous threads are outdated. I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective and efficient way to get xm installed. I found the tuner but the fit kit is discontinued. The dealer told me 599 installed. I didn't think that was aweful. I would like to do it myself if possible. The vaistech systems looked like I would need to pull the dash, may be a bit much for me. I would love for the navi to be unlocked while driving but it's not priority. I don't know much about the vaistech systems. I heard people talk about the. ML+, but i didnt know if any other parts were neccesary. Any suggestions. Sorry if you answered this already. Getting mixed info from the older threads. If you have part cost, install cost, and model numbers it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks

The Vais tech is the best way to go. I recently had one installed on my 09. It was 550$ installed. Model ( sound linq3). Or SL3X. Everything runs thru our stock system. Hope this helps

Vaistech sl3x. Is what we want, best buy will install it if you chose not to. $319 for the kit. Need to get a quote from best buy. Guy at vaistech told me they are in development for Bluetooth audio playback within the next 6 months. Going to hold off until then for iPod integration
