Default Starting ISF with Android or Iphone

Hey Guys,

I saw a couple of commercials where people are able to lock/unlock, locate, and even remote start their car with a cell phone... Is it possible on the ISF? If so, does anyone know where I would even start about getting that feature? Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure ab Lexus, but a lot of GM products have apps that can do what you mentioned. Haven't heard of Lexus doing this though.

From what I read about warming up your car, remote start doesn't sound like a good idea. idle is not good

There are remote start apps that work with the iPhone 4 & 5 but I don't think Android OS allow for it. Viper has a system that I looked into but I don't think its compatible with my Droid DNA. Here is some more info from Viper:

You beat me to it. Will it work with our cars or your phone, no clue. But I do hear this viper is pretty nice.

From what I see on the website, it only has bad reviews...... every customer says to stay away from the app...lol probably not a good investment!

I have the smart start and viper 5902 in my car. Works perfectly fine. You can use 2 ways LCD remote or you can download an app on your phone and you can start/unlock/lock your car anywhere in the world. Also it will let you know on your phone if someone trigger the alarm even thou you are out of the range since it uses data. It is a pretty neat sys

Check out Drone Mobile.

Works good, but requires annual subscription.

yep, you can use vipers smartstart system. it will work on the F. i got quoted 1300 for install and includes two year service. after that its 99 bucks every two years. you can unlock and lock your car as long as you have cell phone signal. pretty cool

it's easily possible. you may have to lose one of your keys with the extra modules though depending on year. the 2008 early models will be easier than 09+

No need to lose any keys, they will just use by-pass modules for the smart keys model
