Because the true power opener is when its paired with headers.. its like that for every car in the world. An exhaust isn't complete unless its paired with a quality header to take full use of the free flow.

Is it sound you want? Or is it power and sound you want? You have to pay to play and if you can't afford a header/exhaust then stick to just doing a cat/muffler delete but know that if you get tired of just having the sound and want to step up your game then you'll end up doing the whole header/exhaust thing anyways lol.

btw an older LS has true dual from the factory.. and we get stuck with an exhaust with 23 bends and a smushed portion 2-1-2? That sucks.

I also gave it some thought, exhaust vs headers. But in the end exhaust won I really just wanted sound. I am just not sure I will notice the difference in power with headers installed.

I second this motion!!! JE Import Performance are a bunch of awesome people, I had work done there before on my old car. Prompt, responsible and friendly.

You should also price check GT Performance Inc, they work on exotic cars and do rare work with extreme detail and knowledge.

I have experienced a borla with sikky setup as a passanger. This was a while ago and maybe if I was behind the wheel my opinion of the added power might different. I currently have joez exhaust and the sound is just awesome! At some point I would like to hear and get a ride with either ppe or sikky with joez exhaust.

So are going with headers? I went to JE for my exhaust install and I would def go back for other work.
