Default Exhaust or Headers First?

Unfortunately I think I'll only be able to do one or the other anytime soon so which would you guys do first? I think right now I'm leaning towards headers if I can find a place I trust to install them. Is there any real benefit of doing one before the other?

Thanks guys!

I've always been a fan of opening up the front and the rear (no pun intended), intake and exhaust.

I'll be doing those two as well as headers to my F.

Forget the intake. Do the headers first. Unless being loud is that important to you in which case do the exhaust first. But, don't do the intake. After full exhaust, you don't even hear the intake so much.

I am doing both. My vote for you is headers first.

I'd go with headers. Get the harder install done first!

If you're in Maryland, then you aren't far from the shop that's done more header installs on the F than anyone else.

Go with the one that makes the most bang for the buck, which is why i went with PPE headers first. GL with your decision and happy modding bro!

Headers, specifically PPE, first!

I would do headers first. Not sure what MD's state laws are regarding vehicle modifications, though. That's why I chose not to do headers first. Intake and exhaust are relatively easy, but the header install will require a significant amount of time, so if you want to get that out the way first, that might be the way to go. Plus, you're not too far, as caymandive mentioned, from a reputable shop who can do the install.

I'm also not sold on exhaust first, I would like to headers first. How many hours for install? Any members in the Chicago,Milwaukee area have headers put on by a reputable installer?

I'm just going to get both the headers and exhaust done at the same time. Just get it done and over
