Caliper Paint Thoughts
#123
So who make a paint and decal that can handle heat? My front calipers have obviously been pretty hot:
Note the gold appearance of the Lexus which should be silver. Since the brakes have been pretty baked by track use, I'd really like to refinish them with something that won't change color or burn off (like a decal) when I go to the track.
Street drivers - let me know if you've ever seen this on your brakes, I have my doubts any of you have. Track drivers - anybody else been to a track this hard on brakes? What have you done to refinish your calipers?

Painting your calipers on the other hand....

I think you may be confusing rotors and calipers?
It's your calipers that the paint is flaking off and thus need to be repainted. Lots of great ideas on here, I personally repainted mine black and put a yellow Brembo graphic were the Lexus logo was.
My previous car was an IS350, I used red G2 caliper paint and they turned out great, very easy too and hard wearing!
Good luck 👍

No worries, I will be painting my calipers. It was a typo that was corrected shortly after realizing the mistake. I kid with most people in my life, but I realized that playing along here (where people don't know me or my sense of humor) didn't realize my second post was humor. Oh well, back turning my left handed crescent wrench, finding the keys to the vapor lock, and running to the auto parts store for a can of sparks, an AC battery and some blinker fluid to get my car tip-top again.

On a side note, do you fly choppers?
