My (future) brother-in-law had that same color Z, but Touring, and it's a looker. Loved the manual, but he ended up selling it before he went back to college. It's a fun car and loads of aftermarket support for it.

Best of luck in getting the F! The only thing I'd consider is getting a color that you want and not just finding one at a good enough price because you'll enjoy it that much more with the color and interior combo you want versus something that you might have had to just settle for.

i came from a 350z, wanting to get a 370z as well. the 370z doesn't even remotely compares to the F. i would say the 370z is more inline with the is350 . 370z is much quieter than the 350z with nicer interior but the F is quieter than the 370z, nicer interior, leather, stereo, and is so much faster feeling wise and performance numbers. The F is seriously one of the most underrated cars ive ever driven. im glad i test drove one because i would prob be in the e92 m3 right now talking about how slow the F is, lol. only other car that i drove that feels like an upgrade is the GTR

Do it! The silly grin you get every time you go WOT will keep you smiling forever. Toyota reliability too and reasonable cost on parts!

I actually considered a 370Z NISMO instead of the F......but lack of luxury in the NISMO led me to the F....plus 4 doors. $42K is a bit high for a 40K mile F. You should be able to haggle a bit... I suggest using cars.com and try finding cars of the same year with similar mileage that are priced cheaper.....and use that to haggle.

Do you have pics of the Z? I love that blue.

I've been on the boards for over 5 years now with various Lexus vehicles. As soon as I starting reading these threads I had to have onetoo. I've loved my F. Hope you sell your Z soon so you can buy mine!!

370z is a beautiful car BTW. I love the styling and lines.

FWIW I had a new 2004 WRX for 10 months before I just couldn't stand not having an STi. Everyday I was pining. And yes, I know how absurd it was to trade in a new car and buy yet another new car in 10 months time. I kept the STi for 6 years because it truly was perfect for me.

I would assume that a IS 350 would leave you feeling the same.

^No kidding, take a look at the 370Z NISMO.....350hp from the factory and it weighs just a tad over 3000lb. With mods it could easily beat the F. The lack of many things such as speakers, leather, nav.....doesn't make it as appealing though.

LOL I had a feeling you might come across this thread. I'll keep you updated like I said in my email.

You guys have me pretty convinced, but I'd still like to test drive both an IS350 and ISF before deciding. My original intention for wanting to sell was just to get a small 4-door luxery and something my wife could drive that would also be fun. I was looking at the c350, 335i, and drooling over a c63 (again, a nice thought, but not what I really need) but ultimately decided I felt more comfortable with a Lexus.

I went from 2006 350z to 2009 IS F.
You will love the F. It's more comfortable than the Z.

Just go for the F, don't bother with the IS350.
