It was easy to tell they aren't making 100% contact as about 3/4" of my rotor has rust showing where the pads not making contact and its on both sides.. There should really be a complaint made cuz this could be unsafe

Yeah man I understand and its frustrating. Ill tell you since i put my Brembo pads back in there really is nothing like OEM pads, the braking power is unreal. I personall will never anything else. I guess they made it like that for a reason...lol

I just remove my wearever pads after 10 months and 16k miles. I did a proper bed in on the pads. I have even wear on the pads. I never had any issues on the pads except the rust rings on the tip of the rotors. The pads is a little smaller than the OEM. So I doesn't get contact on the full rotors. I'm put the OEM back for a week to get rid of the rust ring and I'll replace it with the project mu.

Ok, Ill chime in on here since I was the one that brought these to everyone's attention. I no longer have my F, but I use these pads on my 1.
They wore evenly on my F. But, I had a set of Hawk pads do this on the Bimmer. I replaced the pads and checked the rotors for uneven wear. But, as I was opening the caliper I saw that some of the old Brembo dust had built up on the inside of the piston groves making it hard to compress them. It was so hard, I had to chip it off with a flat head.
You have to clean out the old accumulated dust out of the rotors and pads when you do a pad swap. It helps keep the rotors cooler, and it keeps the caliper functioning properly. The BMWs have an even worse problem with dust on the OEM pads than the F's do. I know I was spraying compressed air and cleaner for a while to finally get it all out. I wish I could show you the difference.
Anyway, I think that may be the problem here. And I think everyone that has purchased these will be ok with them. That's my .02...
