I've had both (current Joe Z) and the Borla is quieter of the two.

Joe-Z +PPE here and it is basically at my limit for loudness. I like it but I wouldn't want it to be any louder. I don't think Joe-Z by itself would be bad at all.

Joez is the system to go with, made for our cars, yes borla was developed for our cars as well. But Joe Z is a member of the community and only builds for the lexus brand. This is my opinion. I went with the Joe Z and have not ever thought about parting ways with it. Sound is amazing, performance is best of all brands IMO

I had this same debate about which exhaust to get. I ended up getting a Borla because i do plan to get headers which would increase the sound. Joe Z sounds amazing and if i didn't plan for headers i would of went that route. For me Joe Z and headers would be to loud. Cant go wrong with either one just personal preferences on noise levels.

If only comparing those two ISF Exhaust Systems, IMHO, there is no comparison. The workmanship and quality of the JoeZ is is far superior to the Borla.

I went with Borla for a few reasons..

1. Price: It was ~$600 cheaper than Joe-Z
2. Easy to get: There are a ton of Borla distributors, talked to a local shop and it was there a few days later
3. Noise: Borla was the quietest of the cat back exhausts

Now I will say JoeZ no doubt has higher quality, (you get what you pay for) but I also dont feel that Borla is crap by any means. I think JoeZ goes above and beyond what is actually needed...
You really cant go wrong with either.. should come down to sound and budget.

No your correct, but why be like everyone else and go with the axleback...thats where things make sense with the JoeZ. Most get an axleback for 6-800 and then want the mid pipe for another 3-400. So your basically shelling out around 1100-1200 bucks for a setup when Joe Z is a tru dual system for 1400.
