has anyone seen the 2012+ led headlights with a painted housing? Just curious what it would look like. If you have a pic post it up, thinking this would loook good.

This would be a very delicate DIY one mistake and that's an expensive oops. I did my headlights on my 07 IS350 with confidence, not sure I would want to try baking MY11 LED headlights. I'm interested to see if anyone does this and how it would look as well.

I think the gloss black housing they come with probably looks best. A color match of the car would look kinda ricey to me.

From all the IS-F's I looked at, the bright chrome in the relatively large headlights give it an opened look. It looks fresh and appealing. I think a color match would look ricey, like CalitriSC mentioned.

This looks like a gloss black because of the dark scenery, but you get the idea of a gloss black headlight.

This flat/ matte headlight looks pretty good, now that i've thought about it.
I'm not sure if it'd match the rest of the shiny car.

But the lens itself reflects.


the newer ISF's have dark headlights?
