***UPDATE***
The HG PowerPlug has been in development for the past couple years with the initial intention of offering a solution to vehicles that can be tuned or easily tuned through the OEM engine management system. While it fits the bill of allowing for customized tunes for these particular vehicles it is also a truely plug and play compatible and the best part, it will offer switchable maps through the use of your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet by downloading the proper application to your appropriate device to connect to your PowerPlug.
Currently we have a few units that are currently being tested by some our our good customers and in house vehicles. We have done nearly a year of driving tests to make sure the system is reliable in as many conditions as can be seen driving throughout California and Nevada, while also refining communications between Android and Apple devices.
The engineer behind the development is William T Knose Jr. of Delicious Tuning. William’s background stems from a computer science and math degree, with nearly 15 years of automotive engine management tuning including a couple highlights of his career, OEM tuning of Ken Block’s Gymkhana 1 Subaru and Motec Engine management tuning on Gymkhana 2 among many other OE engine management systems including BMW, Porsche and Ferrari systems. To say the least this system has been put through it’s paces, while tunes are developed for smooth and reliable power so we can make sure it is ready for prime time.
While we have not released any details so far this is our initial information download to the public and there are a lot more details coming but we are still refining the final aspects of the PowerPlug functionality. At this time we can not give any specific dates on when the product will be available but it will solve a lot of problems many people been searching for.
Regards,
HG Motorsports
P.S. We will be releasing a video and some preliminary dyno charts early next week for all of you!

So in the end another piggy back device. Interception and signal manipulation ...smoke and mirrors of the ecu world and not exactly a breakthrough. Guess il drop by in a few months time for another tune thread
