Stainless steel is the way to go! I live in central PA and daily drive this and there is SO much salt in the winter, SS will atleast remove the worrying asscociatrd with mild steel,
A+ for PPE accomodating their potential customers!
I wish sikky would do some SS for us but it doesnt matter i have confidence in PPE,

Its nice stuff.
One thing to remember...
DO NOT HEAT WRAP CERAMIC COATED HEADERS!
Tons of heat gets retained, which is ok, except for the part where thermal expansion is so great that the coating can crack and flake off in places. I didn't heed this warning and saw this first hand.

Order placed today with PPE for custom stainless steel headers for ISF
Ceramic coating inside and out
lifetime warranty
PPE says any issues they will replace or repair under lifetime warranty!
(maybe I would have been OK with MILD Steel but now I know I'm OK, come whatever
so I am looking at my calandar counting the days

I dont have a cat back ...I have axle back borla ...got it when I first bought the car in 2010...was just too quiet to be that powerful...5.0 V8 was too quiet for me stock and only opened up when u got passed 3400 RPM... wanted more growl when I drove around
so I bought some nice audio with the Borla Cat back.
May do the borla dual and weld in some cats....but will just put in ppe for now.
I have many people who say the MILD steel coated is just fine for 3 years- 4 years + and PPE says they have had them on some cars with no issues for more than 12.
I just made the choice for stainless for peace of mind for myself. just wanted to know I'm covered for the life of the car ...should it be 10 years from now and the header by some chance or even a flange rusts out...I can send to ppe with no worries (covered)
I dont plan on gettin rid of my F, anything else(cars) in the future will just be added to the garage/driveway . So the lifetime warranty and the longevity of the SS just appealed to me.
I know it will be hotter temp wise but thats ok - it will never rust and if it does, i am covered 100%.

I have a set of ppe headers from the group buy going on in two days,
Would you guys recommend putting a coat of hi temp rust inhibitor on them before giving them to the shop?

It is 2k for SS from PPE coated inside and out, u dont want ti headers, its $$$$ and bad with heat and welds r not as strong (its harder to weld ti)

I know that TI is harder to work with but I was under the impression that Ti was very good with heat. I know that is is just as strong as steal but is something like 40% less dense.
