I doubt I'll ever sell mine. I am praying that I have the funds for a supercar within 5-7 years though. If not, the F is getting sold.

I will one day. It's a great car but everyone has their reasons to move on.

Love the F, but it'll run its course. I'm probably going to be in the market for a GSF (if Lexus builds one), or a newer ISF in 4ish years. I'll want to sell my F after I've had my fun with it, but while it still has some good resale value.

I really want a GT3 or even a Cayman S, but unfortunately I'm probably gonna be in the sport sedan market rather than the pure sports car for quite awhile.

Honestly... I change car pretty often but this time around my F has clicked with my fiance who happens to remind me every now and then not to sell it. She loves the darn beast!

But thank you for the update.

I'm gonna make fun of you the day you get rid of your IS F for something else...then we're gonna go to M Cuties to talk about how all these years you've said "IS F for life"

I've seen some F members move on to higher performing, more tunable cars and a few years later, they come back to a newer F. I know I'll always keep it. It might not be the fastest car out there, but it is mine and that's all that matters. It sucks that the OP realizes that he misses his F after selling it, but that just goes to show how great an all around car the IS F really is for people to seek it after letting it go. It certainly isn't a perfect car, but it is pretty darn solid in all facets.

I had a conversation with my fiance a few years ago about whether or not to sell the F and get a Sienna. Yes, a major step down in performance, but given my stage in life and fatherhood ready for my embracing, we definitely need a more kid-friendly vehicle. My fiance blatantly told me to not sell my F because she knows how much I care for the F (the countless hours detailing and maintaining its looks, the indecisiveness when it comes to finding that perfect parking spot so that no idiot driver would try to park close to me (especially in a practically empty lot), the constant searching of info and interacting with friends on CL, etc.). She isn't much of a car enthusiast, but knows how deeply vested I am, and that's something she feels is much more important than simply getting a car for the newborn. We aren't with child yet, but I love knowing I am with someone who can understand my affection with the IS F.
