Default Hit the dyno today

Went to a meet at a shop and they had a awd dyno dynamics so I decided to jump on and see what would happen. 75* and 45% humidity. 6th gear pulls. Only mod is Joe Z intake pipe. Friend with a SS Camaro that put down 465whp on a dynojet last fall only put down 411whp on the same dyno today with me.

Seems a bit off you shouldn't be loosing over 100hp from the motor to the ground.

These dynos read like 12%-18% lower than a dynojet. So, I dont have a problem with the 307whp run. That would put me between 350-360 I would think on a dynojet which is what most people hit on stock or stock+joe z pipe. I could be wrong though.

Who knows these things... I was on a dyno jet and did 420hp and 375 tq, then went on the same thing you did and made 380hp and 410 tq. Who knows how much power it really has but I know it runs mid 11s all day. Dynos are great performance measuring tool but other than that they dont tell us much... go on a dynojet and get some bragging rights maybe. Wanna know how fast your car is, hit the strip.

Ya, thats about how I feel. Let me see that trap speed! lol. I just got on the dyno for a decent price and because I was curious to see how it did. Im not worried about it either way. I tried to hit up my local strip 2 fridays ago now, it was opening weekend and was stupid busy. i didnt even bother going through tech to run. Friends only got 2 runs in over like 4 hours, no thanks, Ill sit in the stands and hang out lol. Hope to hit the strip here soon before it gets real hot.

Yea dynos are all different I did an awd Dyno too and it read like 315 similar to your readings then I did a Dyno jet and it read 360 so yea IMO dynos are only good to reference before and after on a mod to see how it has helped your performance

Yea to me a dyno reading is just a waste only worth it when you want to compare how your mods have helped or hurt your performance
