Thanks guys. I purchased the ISF slightly used with about 5,000 miles on it, and it actually came with the grills and emblems painted gloss black. I'm not sure what the exact color code is since I didn't paint it, but in the sun it does look very dark gunmetal.

In terms of driving dynamics of the BM's to ISF, it depends on which model comparisons you want me to make, but in general I like the steering feel of BMW's with their hydraulic steering, but their newer cars are moving to electric. ISF sounds better than all my previous cars, the interior is nicer, more reliable so far, and is the quickest one (probably tied with the modded 335i).

So far I'm really enjoying the ISF- amazing car. Really looking to get an exhaust next and don't want it too loud, so most likely going for a Borla.

Here's a window trim pic I promised. Was done using vinyl.

Sweet F, I like it!

The HPFP disaster is what drove me away from BMW as well. I used to have a slightly modded Alpine White 335i not too different from yours. I love the look of the E92 M3, especially with a few tasteful mods, but the ISF is the better car to own and daily drive in just about every measurable category. Welcome to the club!

Daniel: Nice! One day, I may try to pick up a manual one when I get some spare funds. The SMG ones had issues at around 70k miles.

VBB: Thanks! And yeah the HPFP issues got annoying when I started going to the dealer every month or so. After that, I chose between an E90 M3 and ISF, and decided I needed a change.

Congrats and welcome! There are quite a few other past E46 M3 owners on here, myself being one of them. I agree it was such a fun and dynamic car, yours was a great looking example. I would love to get another one down the road. The F looks great too!
