So I was just parked in City and just was wondering how good or bad is the stock alarm on our cars? I understand its factory but what does it take to get it going? I was just wondering since our BBS wheels and some with after market are always somewhat worried of getting them stolen... If the car gets lifted would it go off? I did a slight test and smack the car around and even shook it and nothing happened. Is there a way to set the sensitivity?

 

There's no motion sensor in the stock system.

 

what does set it off is if you sit inside and try to manually unlock the doors while the car is off.
