Congrats, great looking car. You will enjoy her immensely. I'm surprised we have so many comments without someone pointing out that your front wheels are on the wrong sides. It isn't a big deal, but the blades are supposed to cut forward. Again, congrats on the purchase.

Crap, I haven't had an issue with my '08 and have 33k on it right now and of course just fell out of warranty. Hoping I don't have this issue for awhile but thanks for the lookout

You still have time on the powertrain warranty, and the water pump is covered under powertrain, not bumper to bumper. Powertrain is 72 months or 70k miles. None of the '08s are out of powertrain warranty for time, only for mileage.

Get ready to become part of the F addiction. I am in withdrawal if I do not get driving time every day.

I thought I made up my mind selling my IS-F. But I can't let her go and decided to keep her!

Congrats!

Thanks for pointing that out. Good eye. Thank you all for the compliments and the welcome. Just got my car back yesterday. Man I missed her. Just got my alarm delivered and will be installing soon.
Clifford 590.4x paired with the DBALL bypass module and proximity sensor. I like to remote start my car and warm it up before i drive it. A bit old school I know. And also to keep delinquents from around my car.

I know what you mean. It's like there is never enough road.

I have an '08 and I had mine changed in Feb'13. When I originally called the dealer, the guy said it was out of warranty. Then I check our manuals and it's clearly stated that the water pump is covered under the powertrain warranty. Don't let them fool you!

Congrats. I've had my eye on an IS-F when I saw them displayed at the mall.

Link to alarm and dball bypass please. I need one on my 07 GS350. Actually, eventually going to install on my Lightning as well.

Here's the link. Bought it from this seller on amazon but the amazon price is now higher than their website.
http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...lifford_590.2x

For the key bypass module.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004DZ...sr=8-2&pi=SL75

And for the proximity sensor.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0009V...sr=8-1&pi=SL75

Remember now. Your alarm will only be as good as your installer.
