Funny because the Borla I had on my G35 would drone so much it would rattle the plastic b pillars inside the car. It was a V6. Is it safe to assume that the V8 exhausts will drone even more, or is it a growl??

Sensitivity to drone varies by person. Every aftermarket cat-back exhaust I've owned has produced drone, some more than others, but I don't find the Borla to be significant with the IS F and neither do my regular passengers (who've previously given opinions about other exhausts). If it were rattling anything on my car, I'd just as quickly pull it off.

Depending on throttle input, gear, and speed, there are a number of points where it sounds very close to stock and others where you get a more pronounced sound.

Any one here in Toronto with JoeZ? Where did you order from and what was your experience like?

Thanks!

Now that I've had my Borla for over a year... I have to say, I don't like the slip joints. They keep on looesening and over time, they hit parts of the car/bumper and cause "thumps" on the bumps and stuff. I'd rather just get headers and keep the rest of the exhaust stock. That's just my 2cents/opinion.

I am not in Toronto, but I got my JoeZ from another isf owner. I have to say, it is BY FAR my FAVORITE exhaust. NO problems and it sounds like a BEAST ! I also have Sikky headers, which may make it even better, not sure tho

About the Borla, I was suppriced about the loudness of the exhaust. I was told that it would settle a bit after while, but not sure. I took it off after three days.
The worst part was driving in a regular AUTOmatic mode. The isf has eight gears, the sound was very annoying everytime the car changes gears,, especially the lower gears. I did not like it. If you drive agressively in Manual mode, it was OK. I did not care for the tone of the exhaust, the mufflers looked cheap to me in comparison to the stock :-(
I do not recommend it.

I'm really laughing at people saying the iss forged is discontinued. They are not activly building them but if you call them and ask them they will make you one.
