Just buy a 2013 and get it over with.. You will love it. If a new IS-F comes along wait a year or two for the kinks to be worked out of it and if you like that buy it. :-)

considering (2006-2013) Model year IS series. The IS-F model did not come out until 2008 Model Year. And Lexus has already annouced that the IS-F will continue be on the lineup even thou the new 2014 Model Year IS 250/350 has a completely new styling and Chassis. I would personally recommend the 2013 or 2014 Model Year IS-F because most don't notices improvement thru out it's model cycle. For instance, IS-F went thru a complete revamp suspension tuning as well as addition of LSD diff from 2010 MY. And as for the 2011 MY and up it also adds new gauge cluster (LFA inspired style) and new LED headlamp is just icing on the cake. So don't wait as life is too short. I mean think about the next gen IS-F won't arrive at least till 2016 MY(Summer of 2015??)

Don't wait, just get the 2013 ISF, and trade up when or if the new one comes out. Don't worry about depreciation either, ISF's (and obv LFA) probably hold their value the best compared to other Lexus models. You can't go wrong with leasing or buying. You can buy out the lease at the end of the term if you desire to go that route.

Until Lexus releases an official announcement, a newer body style ISF (or even GSF) is all speculation. That's why I say get the '13 now.
