Good meeting you Rich/Mike, and the regulars.....it was a blast as always. Got thumbs up and tons of people coming up to us asking questions like "how fast is this"... "are you guys making a video, what do i search for on youtube"... "sounds great". There were tourists taking video of the buildings, and when they heard us revving, they started taking video of us, LOL.
There was some traffic as expected but we had a blast driving thru times sq and the Battery Park underpass later on. As Kashan also said we were able to park directly in front of Mamoun's with no issues. Cops even rolled thru and didn't give us any trouble. Onto the next one!

Guys, I really had a blast and it was really nice meeting the 'queens' group. the rally and food at the Mamoun's was so delicious that I wanted go there again when I go to City again lol and I wished I could have stayed longer and went to downtown (battery park) with you guys but I am sure we will have another NYC rally again.
And yes there were some traffics but it gave more time for tourists to see our lines of cars (9 Fs) from one signal to other signals. When we went through the Times square, I was really surprised with all the reaction of tourists because they rarely see any cars lining up on the street like that middle of Times Square. Of course the taxis hated us for doing it lol...I was 9th car, following (crazy) other 8Fs and I could hear all the hate and screaming when we stopped middle of the road to keep our line lol but it was worth it, I say....anyhow sunday would made great driving experience but this Sat NYC rally was something else....and I would do it again~
And for the record, VJ wasn't late that much because he first met with me and Rich at 6:30 but it was quite confusing to get to 59th street where other groups were waiting plus the traffic.

True, the start point was originally uptown at 6, but instead the LI/qns crew decided to go straight to 59th. Miscommunication but it was easier for both parties. From now on we will meet in front of Jacob Javits, as it is wayyyy easier and there are barely any cars there on weekends.
