what you guys think? 1/4 mile finally!!
Last week managed to take some time and drove the F to the drag strip. My set up is as follows : PPE headers, secondary cats removed, joe z intake tube, afe wet drop in,and tires are hankook v12 ventus stock size all arround. I managed to pull a best 12.8@113.75 w 2.02 in the 60's, the humidity here is sky high , elevation is sea level, and the temp was on the 93s. tire pressure was on 36 psi ,tracktion control off, sport mode manual shifting. Launch was done arround 1500rpm , higher than that spined the tires half of 1st gear and the entire second gear!!! how can i make this better ??? track conditions where awfull the 12.8 pass was my first , right when i got to the track so tires where hot because is a two hour drive, after that all passes where 12.9@112 , then i decided to rest the car and when i came back the car was even slower 13.0-13.1 @ 112-110mph!!! Keep in mind I did not did staged burn outs i just pull up there and let it rip...
P.S. there where a few F's there but they where much slower than me !!! one was dialing all night 13.6@106-8mph
the other one was dialing 13.9-14.0@104mph
want to here your comments and pardon my english and spelling!!!

hmm, pretty soiid i would think, given those conditions and considering what the other f's were doing. any idea
seems like your mods def made a diff, you know if the other f's were stock? seems like.
know what the da was?

dragtimes.com has a DA calculator and will give you your corrected time. Altitude, humidity, temp play such a huge role in times. I ran 12.89@110.4 stock 2 weeks ago but the conditions were more favorable

well the one that dialed 13.6 it had a greddy exhaust but don't know what else!!! and the slower one i think it had an aftermarket intake , because the secondary intake port opening was not noticed!!!

the conditions here are tough, i now !!! look at that... stock you ran a time close to mine!!! but then take a look at the slower one i think he was stock and it dialed 13.9-14.0 , i know is not the car or driver , is the conditions!!!

I've only taken my F to the drag once, during the Richmond VA F meet. I have a stock '12 and my best run was 12.9 and the slowest was 13.1 I think. I don't recall what the conditions were that day though and I think my trap was around 110.

probably but i don like the drone or to be loud , had the oportunity to buy a greddy titanium exhaust and gave it away to loud for me , two or three tenth can be done with doing a better 60's , money in pocket and still not loud.

people say for every tenth you shave from the 60's , you shave two tenth at the final 1/4 time. And my 60's sucked 2.02 can be beat easy I think thats why im trying to gather knowledge on the subjet throut this thread!

It seems like 2 seconds is about average. I miss running 1.7s all day in my sti!
