wife test drove the F before we bought it....she scared the dealer ****less since he wasn't expecting her to mash on the pedal like that. After she drove it, she said, yeah its fast...sounds nice. Its up to you if you want to buy it... DONE!

My wife told me long ago we could have any car, as long as it was red. Since we've been married we've had:
a red 1989 5.0 Mustang
a red 2000 Eclipse GT
a red 2008 Mazdaspeed 3
a red 2011 IS-F
I like her rules

I work 21.5 miles away from my home in suburbs of NYC and last week left late to work at 11:38pm. My wife tried calling me on my cell when I didn't pick up she called at my office and was going to leave message thinking I would be there within hour, but when I answered phone she said and I quote WTF you just left 17 mins ago how hell did you get to work so fast my reply was she had idea how fast F was she now knows how fast F is lol.

My g/f had never been past 90 mph then there was an opportunity on a runway to try to hit you top speed. After I bounced off the top speed limiter and proceeded to decelerate. She gasped and said "That was a 100 mph?!" I chuckled and said "Considering we're still doing 155 that was a lot faster than 100 mph." She then started hyperventilating. Then exclaim "I thought we we're going to take off! It felt like I was in a plane!" So yeah she knows acceleration wise but not lateral grip wise.

Yes and no...she drove it for most of the first 20k miles (long commute that was miserable in our other vehicles). She is a car chick and can definitely drive. She has pushed it in a straight line, but I don't think she has even remotely found how fast it is in the twisties once you get comfortable with the limits.
