My wife has seen me merge under full power, but she has never experienced what the car can do on a twisty road. It occurs to me that many of our wives think the IS-F is just a nice luxury car with a bit more power than most.

My wife understands cars because I've always liked fast cars and we've been together over 15yrs, so she knows enough to understand the ISF isn't just a "regular" Lexus. That said, she can't quote horsepower figures or trap speeds either. I've shown her the straight line acceleration up to about 80mph, but she has absolutely no desire to hit triple digits and/or take corners fast. On the rare occasions that she drives the car, she doesn't even use sport mode.

Well, my wife knows is fast and got powa, but she don't care at all When people ask what kind of Lexus is she always says, "I dont know but its really fast. Ask my husband, he gladly tell you everything..."

And yes, she does. I have not taken her as fast as I've gone myself, but she's well aware of everything else. I had to show her why I wanted the car. She quickly understood. 2nd intake opened, and she said, "Oohhh!"

My wife understands how quick it is. I let her take it for a spin and she did maby a quarter throttle and had to get outta it because it was to much for her driving. She's ok being in cars though. She is normally my passenger when I'm drifting my sc.

Honestly, I didn't even know how fast my F was, for some time. I've taken it up to speed before, and she has experienced it, but I found just how slow I was once a professional driver took the wheel.

So yeah, more than enough car for both of us.

Kind of but not really best explains it for my wife, lol. She loves to drive it but does not know about the sport mode, well, to my knowledge anyway. She loved driving my Mkiv Supra before I got the F. I sat passenger with her driving a few times and she drove like a normal civilized individual lol.

My wife's been to the track in the right seat of our friend's full race prepped M3 following me at Carolina Motorsports Park. She knows exactly how fast the car is with me driving it. She also knows the M3 is faster with our friend driving it.

Let's see how do I start. My wife knows my car is fast but I don't think she knows the full extent of the F. I've driven her from 30-110 MPH a few times and she started to scream at me so i slowed down. lol. I keep telling her that my car is one of a kind in this area that no one has this car in 60 mile radius or more (haven’t seen one yet). Every time she sees an IS, she automatically thinks it’s an ISF. I laugh at her and tells her differences between regular IS and F.

My wife is very smart and knows that the F is faster than your average car. She also knows how to identify an F from a regular IS using the quad pipes as an indicator. Being that she knows all of this, she barely has any interest at all in my car. She'd rather drive her Audi A5 or our CR-V..

My wife is no stranger to fast cars. I do have to give her advanced notice if I want to get on it though, and that comes from my 400+whp/wtq 06 sti i just sold. She says it was like riding on a roller coaster because it would make her stomach drop . We both love the lexus because of the smoothness of the power/ride, she even asked to drive it the other to go to the movies with her dad so she could show him the car
