Sup Teo. I don't think you'll be able to unless you buy the software which is $1345 for the most affordable version or rent it for $55 (2 days) according to some guy in a thread.. haha. Lexus of Larchmont does it with no problem.

good luck with you my friend!
Not to threadjack. But I live near Charleston, and the Lexus of Charleston seems only good for their parts dept (always willing to help). Everyone else seems useless as all get out.

But their bathroom is baller as hell......mouthwash in a dealership restroom? Yeah....

The local Toyota dealer has always been way more helpful.

The dealer called me today to confirm that this was not possible by stating it was not on a "list of programmable options" (or something like that) for the 2008 IS-F. I'm really getting fed up with this. How can so many Lexus/Toyota dealerships know how to do this and this dealer keeps saying "it's not possible"...??

Would you like a picture of my car with the lights off? It's a 2008. I had it done at the first service (1000 mile check) here in Atlanta with no questions asked.

The cable will come with the Techstream Software... I'll conceded its probably not legit software

You can also find it online if you know where to look

By any chance is your car a Canadian model? Canadian models don't have the option of turning off DRL. It's not in the software. Lexus Seattle tried to turn mine off but they couldn't.

Just picked me up a 2012 IS F yesterday so im super new to alot of stuff on it. So by getting the drl's turned off does it keep them off all the time? Does it just keep them off when your head lights are on. Can they be used if you wanted to if the corner lights are turned on only?

since u have a 2012 ur drl is the leds. on 2008-2010 the drl was the high beam. basically when we leave it on auto or on off the high beam lights up at a very low wattage and it would look yellow. basically they just want that off due to either swapping with the new headlights. since u have them already its no point in getting it done unless the high beam does the same thing for 2011-2013. im not sure if it does but that is basically what this thread is about getting the dealer to turn it off for you or just buy the software and do it yourself.

I just ended up taking the DRL fuse out. Quick and easy solution.

I thought taking the fuse out was going to disable the high beams as well? My high beams are still working.

anyone near Miami, FL want to help me shut mine off??

I took my car into the dealer for service, with newly installed HIDs and the DRLs disabled when the HIDs are on, I get my car back yesterday and they turned them back on. so now the DRLs are always on no matter what!! WTF?! looks retarded when the HID's are on and so are the DRLs

Teo, you can turn off TPMS as long as you have the serial #'s of each sensor. I live in brooklyn but am in staten island on weekends if any local CL members wants to use the cable/software
