Hmm okay. I did none of that and my transmission still broke. Luck of the draw, I guess!

Yours was basically brand new right? Had to have been some crazy fault...maybe yours was a friday transmission and someone had a hot date to get to so they cut some corners or something

Yeah it could have been a Friday afternoon build after a few rounds of Sake....but whats important is Lexus fixed it as quickly as they could, gave me a loan car and were apologetic about the whole thing. Modern cars are complicated things and there will always be issues here and there.
