New track tires!
I just got my new set of Toyo proxy888 235/35/19 & 265/30/19, they are wider than my 245/275 set up. I'm gonna run them on my oem wheels as. Have before. These are sweet, sticky tires! And I love the tread.

Please give some feedback at the track Darbs.
As for my contribution of tires at the track:
P Zero Ultraperformance Summers - OMG Fantastic new (less than 1k miles), barely any slippage around 30-40 mph corners at track. But then after 10K miles later, they are horrible at the same track, absolutely horrible. The performance of these tires gets exponentially worse after each 3-5k miles it seems like. So little value in return for tires that are the most expensive with an expected 45K mile tread life.
PS2 - Fantastic new, fantastic at 3K miles later, still great grip at 5K miles later. I believe these have a 15K tread life.

I don't feel it's nessasary for 500hp on the street... Track these and daily something with higher tread wear. I just can't justify the 1600 bucks a set installed for how long they last. What do you get out of a set

Ah sounds good. My best friend and the rest pf the group that I go to track days with were going to Watkins glen in august with the Porsche club of America, but it got sold put very quickly. On wait lost though. For track days I use Michelin pilot super sports. At VIR I was able to run 2:21.056 as my fastest lap. I'm one track day away from soloing in the yellow group with the trackdaze organization.

Yeah they are not needed on a 500whp or less car on the street. They last about 5k miles on the street with the Supra, usually 800whp+ guys. Either these or drag radials.
