Biggest change came in 2010 w/ the addition of an LSD and updated infotainment system w/ USB & BT capability. New wheels in 2010 as well.

2011 + addition of LED headlights and instrument cluster change. 2011 + also had revised suspension.

2012 + different wheels and new interior color combos.

Those are the biggest changes.
And the ZF shock mod on the '12.

I just purchased a 2010 and would like to know what suspension mods are recommended to improve the ride as Lexus did in 2011. Thanks

This is true. The 2012 through 2014 wheels are wider than the original wheels with the same offsets.

Thank you Sir.

Just making sure I have my facts straight. I LOVE the 08/09 wheels but want to go with a bit wider tires. I will search the threads for how wide one can go with tires on the 08/09 wheels where it looks good but gives u a little more meat on the road...

Be interesting to get the opinion of someone who has driven 2008 and 2011 to see what real world driving differences are like. I have a 2008 and have no issues with it.

Interestingly enough, it doesn't look like they changed the tire size to accommodate the wider wheels.

I was speaking to one of the guys at my dealership who owned both, and he stated the ride quality and feel was definitely better on the 11. Having swapped over the steering ECU from that series, I can definitely say the feel is much better, too. They've done a great job improving the vehicle, all around.

The extra 1/2" automatically gives you another ~12mm to work with, so I'm surprised they didn't go 245/275 stock. A lot of us run this now on the old rims, so I'm kind of surprised they (Lexus) didn't up the stock size on the wider rims.

I wonder how far they could push the newer, wider rims. 295? 305?

Wider tires are not as aerodynamic, so they will not change them and potentially face the gas guzzler tax. Just putting 245's on the front of my car made a significant difference in highway mileage - I lost about 2.5 mpg on long road trips - where I would normally see 27 mpg, I was stretching to get 25, and sub 25.0 was common.

295 and 305 both like much wider rims than the 9.5" rears. They might fit, but they're not recommended by the tire manufacturers.

Per MIchelin, Pilot Super Sports in 295 have a minimum 10" rim width and 305 needs a 10.5" minimum width. 285 is the widest allowable tire for a 9.5" rim. 255 is the widest allowable for the 8.5" rim with 245 the widest recommended.

Good info again but I am not even thinking about going that wide...I was more thinkng about 235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the back...I am assuming I could get those on the stock 2009 wheel but wondering what it would look like as I don't want the tire hanging out over the wheel...and also wouldn't those sizes change my speedometer versus the stock 225/40/19 & 255/35/19 tire sizes???
