I'm doing this from memory from when I installed it but:
1. Remove 2 existing plastic pushpins from each side. If you look underneath, you'll be able to tell which ones you'll need to remove to line up with the holes in the side skirts
2. Line up side skirts underneath with the cutout surrounding the lift point. Put the 2 existing plastic pushpins in.
3. Drill remaining holes and use provided plastic pushpins
Hopefully that helps.

You put the rubber gasket on the bottom edges to protect the side skirts from minor scrapes and yes it will be visible. You are drilling into the body through the existing holes in the side skirt. I'll post some close up photos in a bit.
