The instructions are for the ISx50s but I'm fairly certain the procedure is the same for the 08-09 IS-Fs with the Gen5 Navigation systems (I'm not sure about the Gen 6 HDD Nav systems). It's a pretty easy mod to do yourself but it can be time consuming as you are trying to be careful not to damage your vents, the dash, etc.

I've been using the Prestigious Society “plug and play” Navigation and Video Enhancement Module for a few years now and it works very well with both nav input while driving as well as DVD playback if you have backseat passengers in the mood for a movie.

I ran a switch to bypass the NAV CPU when I want to use NAV while car is in motion. there is an excellent write up on the forums on how to do this. Basically when the switch is engaged you can input data while the car is in motion, when disengaged the NAV unit operates normally. Yes you cut wires, yes you must drill out a switch blank for your switch. (located below \ left of the steering wheel)
