Also to those wondering about the 100% and 50% brightness. It can be achived by using a 5 pin relay. I've personaly wired up my old 250 and my sisters 250 to work like a factory 2011+ car with the switch set to auto.

Is there a way to get the drl's to not be on? Can I just take out the bulbs? How can I get my LEDs to be in in auto?

Search is your friend. But yes you can get the drl turned off and yes you can get the LEDs on in auto. There about a dozen threads on how to do this.
