Are there any CARB approved intakes for the ISF? Or can anyone PM me a shop that's got a blind inspector...?

Just drop in an AFE filter and you good. I have the HPS intake elbow and it takes 5-10 minutes to pop it off and put the stock one in. No need for that hassle.

Can't drop anything in, the OEM intake was long gone before I got the car. It's got the K&N intake on it, moved from TX to CA and it won't pass visual now.

There are no CARB legal aftermarket intakes for any of the F cars. The cost of compliance is way too high.

Hello All,

2011 ISF here with ~71k miles in Southern California. Got the DMV renewal and states "SMOG certification required at a STAR station."
The ISF only has an X-Force catback exhaust, so the secondary cats are removed. No headers, no intake mod in the engine bay etc.

Anyone have any ideas if it will pass with a modded exhaust at "STAR station," and if not, any recommendations of a "friendly" STAR smog station in SCAL?

Thanks for anyone's input.

Yikes, for that price, might as well remove the exhaust and put the stock exhaust back on prior to inspection.....
If headers were installed, then no brainer to pay up.
