lol all you want, But, with a tire change you have gone a decent amount of miles and the alignment has probably been comprised. Tires are an expensive item, and an alignment is cheap insurance that you will enjoy long service from them. I stand by what I said.

There's no logic in that either.. I get an alignment every few months (lifetime alignment) and this is irregardless of changing my tires or not. You're assuming everyone only gets an alignment when they change their tires/wheels which very very few people do.

Better advice is to have your alignment constantly checked every 5-10k miles or earlier if road conditions or external factors cause you to.. get aligned only when necessary.

Trust me I've worked for a major tire distributor, know the system and I personally have went through MANY sets of street tires.. logic > vague advice.

Theres no set interval to do one. Just do it when you notice uneven tire wear, steering alignment problems. You dont need to do it with every tire change, your suspension geometry does not change when you get new tires.

Some people just do it with tire changes as an easy reminder to get it done at a semi frequent time period, nothing wrong with that.

no set interval for me. i'll get one if i know i *****ed up my alignment by running into a pothole or hit a curb, the latter being very rare. or in the past, when i've adjusted my coilovers and went lower.

I think the fact that I avoid most potholes helps. I seldom drive thru NYC, probably the worst roads in the country, I'm talking pretty much SPEED BUMPS in the middle of the highway and major bridges. Whenever I know the road is going to be bumpy, I just put on my blinkers, go slow, and people leave me alone.
