I tried to negociate with them on a Silver 2011 ISF about a year ago, the guy just said they do not negociate and hung up the phone.

I think it is silly to expect retail $$$s in a trade-in transaction.
If there is no money to be made in the trade-in deal, what would be
the point of even doing it, plus Carmax certifies most of their cars.

I've heard good things about both the CarMax in Costa Mesa and Irvine. I guess it depends on where you live, what cars they have, etc..
