Just do joez, hps or Carson tuned intake tubes with a drop in filter... The others like takeda and Injen are subject to heat soak and loss of power

Actually the filter in the Takeda is pretty well covered and it attaches to the end of the stock air box. It leaves the stock secondary intake in place. I went from a JoeZ to the Takeda. I was one of the first to switch because I liked the design - and I still do.

I have the Injen and I love it. The fit and finish are excellent. The sound is amazing and the car seems quicker.

I went with the JoeZ intake because all the cool kids were rocking it and never had a complaint since. But really though its a nice solid piece. Theres also the CF Topspeed intake to choose from... GL with your choice bro and happy modding!

I got JoeZ just because they have the blue one to match up the emblem plus those intakes really doesn't make a different on the Hp.

I have an HPS tube with an aFe wet filter because its "supposed" to have more airflow than the dry filter.

I have no complaints and I like the fact it doesn't get hot as metal tube because Florida heat sucks lol. No complaints, no dyno to back up performance but you wouldn't feel the the claimed whp anyways.

The Topspeed CF had fitment issues so they sent a newer designed one and I still had issues with it so I just have up and returned it. I have had the Injen, Takeda, JoeZ, Topspeed and now the HPS lol. I think Takeda or a tube w/ drop in filter is the way to go. Power will be negligible between the tube intakes I'm sure.

But its absolutely NOT quicker.

No intake for the ISF can produce enough power for you to feel. or make an actual difference in acceleration. Its all mental.

in tests the stock intake performed the best - do a search on CL. Some look better or sound nice...but do not give up much HP if any and like the above post said you loss power with many of them. but thy sure do look cool
