last time i switched the Sport mode when it was in D.....my car turned into a Unicorn....#truestory...

OMG, those pics and vids were hilarious!!

Seriously though, when you turn on Sport the ECU eases into it so even if your foot is on the throttle you'll feel things perk up gradually (but quickly). Totally safe. And safe for turning off Sport.

Op. I've been wondering the samething since I had my F. I have always waited till I was at a complete to switch to sport and manual mode.

There's a sport button to make the car even more awesome? I can't wait to try it!
Anyways, yes it is safe. Just wish I had a newer model where the button was on the steering wheel instead of at the knee.

Yea... i don't blame you... the magical 'Sport' button is well hidden on the right side under the steering wheels (08 model)....
Some says once the driver hit it... you can watch ESPN, Fox Sports and other sports channel in HD on your windshield while driving... I hit it.... and it didn't work... So i tried switch it to 'snow' it didnt' snow neither... I am not happy about my Lexus anymore...

Nah I pretty sure the OP won't mind he should already got his question answer already...
