Hi Everyone,
I am looking to buy a new 2013. Very hard to find a black one, which is what I want. Does anyone know of a dealer that has one? Oddly, my local dealer says Lexus will not let him search outside our local area (New England) for inventory. I test drove the car this past weekend, and wow
. I have had some very nice cars, but this takes them all.
My alternative is to special order a 2014, as they are not building any to inventory. I don't want to wait four months.
Thanks for your help!
Scott

Thanks! I had found some on cars.com, but autotrader turned up a few more. What's odd is that several (the one in NJ for example) have thousands of miles on them even though they've never been registered. Is that typical for IS-Fs? Dealer joy-rides? Just curious, as i will buy one with few miles, but 4,000 miles on a new car is weird.

And yeah, during the purchasing process for my ISF, I was sitting in the sales manager's office just chatting about cars in general. He didn't have what I was looking for there, but was able to get me the car I wanted from Georgia. He admitted that when they get an ISF in (and mine was used with 13,000mi) everyone wants to drive it, and several of the higher ups even take them for a week as a demo. If you think about it, it's the most fun car you can actually drive if you sell Lexus because nobody gets to drive the LFA.

Strange that ur dealer would only search 100 miles of ur radius. My dealer in Florida told me if I wanted a new 2013 F they could get one from any Lexus dealer as long as car was brand new and obviously price was worked out before having it shipped. U should try a different dealer if u are able to.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I'm going to check with another dealer nearby to see if they can arrange it, but one in Virginia from the links above might work. Really appreciate all the help.

In Northern Virginia, near DC. The ride back was tremendous. I don't know how my license is going to survive the F. It's a fantastic highway car in addition to the great road (and I'm sure track) handling. Two bad I didn't go back Sunday, I could have shown up at the NE meet in NJ.
