Love the car. I'm partial to Obsidian, and Volks. Love those wheels a lot. Good work!
By the way, did that salesman really tell you to go look at the scion dealership? Seriously? How does that guy even still sell cars? He may be thinking that, sure, but to say it out loud is crazy. I hate when people work in "high end" industries like boutiques, top notch restaurants and car dealerships and act snooty. It's so unjustified and unnecessary.

Thank you. I try. Whether stock or modded, it's easy to appreciate the F because right now we are the heritage.
You're most definitely welcome. I've talked to some members, not just from the F side but also with the other Lexus models offered, who fear of posting pics of their cars because it's not the norm or exactly how the mass would mod. Modding is unique to one's character, and it should be left at just that. Of course, the online forum lends itself to some naysayers and critics, but no one should mod to please others.
Thanks! I kept waiting and waiting to see what type of wheels would match the look I was going for with the F. Nothing too flashy but also would add more detail upon closer inspection. Honestly, since I've mounted everything, more people ask me about the car itself, which is always great for the Lexus brand.
I've revisited that same dealer, as the gf wants an LX. The salesman no longer works there, and hasn't for the last few years. Apparently there have been documented accounts from prospective clients who he drove away because of his behavior. There shouldn't be a dress code to purchase cars or anything of value. But I can understand the brand and store's perspective of wanting to draw themselves to a more mature audience, and yes, shorts don't really display a level of maturation. But it did more so than the douche who wanted to escort me to Scion, which is in no way a disrespect to Scion. I just wanted an IS F. Period.

Very clean and nice to see what you've done to it. Loved reading your "bio" as the car really has that feeling of uniqueness that you can really feel being an F owner. Thinking back about my story of getting my F continues to put a smile on my face as well.
Just like you, I'm glad to be a part of the F-amily and continue to enjoy the times we have meets to hang together and talk cars or whatever. Thanks again and will meet soon

It was a thrill hanging with you guys. It's a shame we never got our F's together for a shot, but hey, I met a good friend and a great asset to the F community in you. So that's still a win in my book.
No problem. It's been a running photo diary all along, just never really had the time to compile it all until now.

You know it! Everyone should enjoy their F. It is why we all scour the forums. Finding new mods, creative ideas, DIYs, meeting new friends...it's all a part of the ownership experience, I think.
