What Lou said and the lack of vacuum for the automatic mode is triggered off the throttle position sensor hitting a specified voltage which in turn causes the solenoid on the vacuum line to close releasing the aculators (no vacuum default behavior is open) and opening the valves on the exhaust (loud mode). - i'll add that this is how it works on the most current version (mine is about 1 month old) Lou was the pioneer for this system so I can't comment on how the automatic mode has worked in the past.

I assume you are talking about our other system that is not dual mode. We call that our race exhaust. It does not have the exhaust valves and the mufflers are a completely different design.

I only has one sound level.

I haven't heard them side by side so it is hard to make a good comparison since they are close in sound levels.

Also keep in mind we still have the test set from our vehicle that we used for an install video production and dyno that we can offer at an additional discount.

I currently have the joe-z exhaust and it's too quiet for me. I grew up with loud cars so I need something more. It the ppe single valve exhaust with no cats and no resonators louder? Can't find any clips on it.

It should be louder as the muffler is a straight dump, however, should you require more volume we can make it with a straight pipe on the valve open side and have it go through the baffles on closure.

So it would be a duel valve system but the open valve system goes through baffle less muffler portion and closed through baffled? Also non-resonated system? What's the price to do that?

We would try to make a custom perf pattern that is not as open in the straight tube section, we have the resonator delete pricing on our site. As it sits they are already baffle-less on the open valve section, so we would decrease the open area percentage on the perforated tubing. Or you could just delete the resonators. I would have to see how much effort it would be with our new cut table to make the new perf pattern as sourcing the material I am thinking would not be easily done to have a sparse opening mesh. With no perf it would be pretty darn raspy, not sure that is what you want.

I don't think I saw any real good pictures from behind the car to show how low the mufflers hang below the rear bumper. Not that it's a huge deal, I am just a stickler about aesthetics.

I'll work on getting pics of the rear. We posted a video shot from the rear and you can see that the profile is near identical to stock.

Has anyone attempted to do through tips with this exhaust, or is placement not even an option?

Love the idea of a valved exhaust for a daily driver/commuter but am really liking some of the old Greddy and ISS through bumper designs.
