Default Tom's Kit

I just got around to installing the Tom's kit. The side pieces turned out to have some damage. I waited too long so I'm stuck with it. I'm gonna try to fix the couple of cracks it has.

Anyways, my question is this. For the people who have the Tom's lip. Is there a way to take off the front bottom plastic piece to get to the engine without taking off the Tom's lip. I know there is a flap for oil changes. But I don't see how the plastic piece would come out without the lip coming off.

Never thought about that as I haven't gotten an oil change yet since installing the kit. Would really like to know as well...

I took mine to the dealer to have the oil changed with the lip on everytime and I know they never took it off it get it done. That would have been something they surely would have indicated would be a problem with access.
