why another new ISF if you're swapping the engine? why not get one used and cut the depreciation if you're just going to put a 0 mile engine in it?

I've done a few swaps and I'm just not going to take the money hit to swap the engine in a new car.

Welcome back my friend! It must be a little nicer knowing you don't have to worry about the black swirls from before haha. Not sure if you answered this before, but were you able to retain any of the mods from the NM F you had?

I can safely say the whole ISF community cant wait to see what you do with your monster built motor putting it back where it belongs in ISF. With all year disappointment over inability of aftermarket and tuning shop to crack ECM it will be nice to see what built motor ISF is capable of. If all go's well we may now have viable option when it comes to making big HP. Who know's, built motor ISF may turnout to be reincarnation of all monster built motor Supra's out there.

Can you just imagine look of all of those GTR's,Vette's,CTS-V,Vipers, supercharged M3, and other big HP cars when 1200hp LEXUS ISF comes ripping down road, now that's something truly special.

Well everyone know GTR and it's well deserved nickname Godzilla, but what would you call 1200hp built motor ISF here are few names I've come up with.

Shinigami -The Japanese Grim Reaper
Raijin - The God of Thunder
Fujin - The wind God
Oni - Classic Japanese demon
Raiju - A beast that falls to earth in lightning bolt.

Or old school Japanese movie monster lol

Monster X
Mechagodzilla-that would next gen GTR to me
Gamera
Magalon
Ryu - Dragon

Just finished building the twin to the LS engine shown in reply #14 including the 102 mm FAST intake system etc. It will be installed in a 2001 BMW M3 for the track. Want track car because I am getting a little worried about driving my ISF on the track now that it has 136,000 miles on it and multiple track days. It still hasn't spent one hour in the shop. Only thing that I have replaced except tires is front brake disk and front and rear pads.

LS dyno'd at 680 hp and 600 ft-lb torque, all motor. It has a full FAST ignition system and ECM with a three stage dry sump oiling system (for the track). Would like to have it running by TX2K here in Houston but doubt if it will be finished by then since going with full roll cage.

Should be fun. Still enjoy driving my 2008 ISF every day to work.

Pat
