This only happen on when car first start up，in cold cold weather. I can hear my front tire is scratching something when turning，while backing up my car. this has happened few times now. only in super cold weather. has anyone ever has this kinds problem with their ISF ？

Thanks for posting that. I experienced this for the first time yesterday since it's the first time driving to OK from FL in some arctic temperatures. I was having problems with search and wasn't able to find that specific thread.

I took the car to dealer other day，they couldn't find the problem....
They say its hard to find the problem if its not happening now...

I think there are two issues here, the current post is referring to the sound of frozen suspension parts, the original post began by describing the sound made by the front tires when the turning radius is tighter than the direction of travel. I get this year round when turning into my driveway, it's the sound of the treads scrubbing sideways because the turn is so tight.

Do you still have summer tires on? Like others have said, it's the tire scrubbing/skidding on the pavement due to
cold temperature's effect on the summer tires. I've been getting the same sound when turning while backing up
taking u-turns.
