what are you guying seeing on trade in offers for your car. My 08 isf has been in two light accidents but has been repair correctly. is loaded and has 55k on it. 28-29 seem fair? they tried to stick me at 27 at a posche dealer and i told them no thank you.

28-29 seems fair. Took a friends car to carmax to get appraised and for ****s and giggles got mine appraised too with 57k my 08 goes for 30k so that seems fair.

I got $35k from a Lexus dealer on my 08 towards an 11 F. My 08 had 53k miles and was nearly mint with no accidents. They started at offering me $29k and went up in small increments until we settled on $35k. U should just tell them ur going somewhere else, unless ur buying something rare like a GT3 or Cayman R they will prob work with u cause Porsches are everywhere and easy to find at other dealers.

How long ago was that trade up and i do agree that two acidents are worth 3-4k so if you got 35. im not taking less than 29,500

I would say 28k is fair for your trade, the accidents kill the value of the car especially because who is looking into a isf most likey will tell that the car has been painted.

Just for kicks, my gf and I went to a few of the local dealers to see how much I could get in terms of trade in value for my F. She wants an LX since we'll be starting our family soon, and I'll end up biting the bullet, but it won't come via trade in. One dealer offered me $39k while another gave $40.5k. It was very tempting, but while she got all giddy thinking she was driving off with a new ride, all it really was to gauge the car's worth through trade in. It was certainly not a joyous ride home for her anyway.

i may also be moving on shortly. carmax offered my 08 with 60k 29.5k. the same goes for some of the other buying dealers in town. a little disappointed too..i was hoping for the low 30s. seems the best thing to do is trade in and haggle a bit like Mrd916.

I would say it's somewhat fair. I wish I was somewhere in the mainland where my trade-in would be even considered. Tried to trade-in for a Nissan GTR, I got no reply. I tried back with the Lexus dealer and they will take my 2012 fully loaded w/ 4,890mi for only $41K and I owe a bit more than that on it.

May take a little longer but why not do a private sale? You could get 1000's more than what you'll get on a trade.

A Carfax hit hurt when trading in a vehicle.
Especially two hits.
I wouldn't buy a vehicle with a Carfax hit and I'm not alone.Dealers know that.
Try and sell on your own.

those two accidents seriously detract from the car though

this is what they will try to sell it for

$32,000-32,500 is the right trade in for the F, presuming it is in excellent condition. It should fetch $35,000 at a minimum in a private sale.

Sell it to a Lexus dealer.
