After reading this 47 page nightmare thread, there's no way I'd pay for these headaches:

Chevrolet Corvettes
C7 Corvettes have the "first year production blues" and a really good reason to give the manufacturer time to work out the issues. I suspect this happens with a lot of cars. I've also wondered about the final year of production where the production crews scour the warehouse for enough parts to build a few more cars.
Saw a C7 the other day. Kind of looks strange even worse than the RC F. To bad because it has a really cool motor. GM needs to quit building the C7 and move onto a mid engine car using this new motor. If the stylists didn't screw it up they would really have something.

Well the early model ISF did not have the issues as extensive as the C7.....that thread is insane... over 47 pages of problems! Ranging from electrical to mechanical to even aesthetic. the 08 ISF's were notorious for only a few things, leaky water pump, bad nav touchscreen, pulling to right....that's all I can think of.
To stay on topic, I'm pretty sure Lexus learned and the RCF won't have early model issues.

It almost doesn't matter what the GSF looks like, that car is almost certainly gonna be too expensive for what I want to spend on a car. I'm guessing fully optioned, it'll be over $90k new, and there's just no way I'm spending that on a car unless it's a Porsche 911 (Turbo, preferably).
I am very intrigued by a next gen ISF, and if one doesn't get made before I'm ready, then the RCF is on the radar.

I did not like the C7 Z06 at first, but I am starting to LOVE it. I might decide to hold on to my F a few more years, then pick up a C7 Z06 after it has been out a while. Buy a Corolla as my daily.

ISF vs RCF
Currently own both a 2008 ISF and a 2015 RCF - they are really different vehicles - whats not to like about both vehicles - I only have 1 100 mile drive on the RCF so far and I am really happy with the RCF but I have no plans to sell the ISF either. Everybody is whining on the extra weight of the RCF - believe me - you sure don't feel it - it has major gun powder !!!! It is more refined than the ISF .
