The graco one looks good. Is it ISO fix?

We've got 2 Recaro Performance Sport seats, no complaints! Thank goodness the kids are out of infant seats as they were a tough fit in the IS.

Do you have any issues with your children sweating due to the recaro material??

We have a Recaro ProRide (similar in size to the performance ride) that we used rear facing in our GS300 and X5. The seat base/shell is a bit tall and bulky when used as rear-facing, so much so that it pretty much blocks the blind spot view if installed on the passenger side.
I can imagine it'd be even worse in the IS-F. However, the seat does fit better when used front facing. But the tall base still makes entry/exit from the door a bit tougher than the Britax we have.

I prefer the Britax Marathon's size/fit in both the rear and front facing setting.

I have my mirrors positioned so there is no blind spot, but I do understand their height may be a bit challenging. At the same time, their height is part of what makes them safe. The MkIV Supra got exceptionally high safety ratings because the seatbacks are so high and provide more neck protection than is typically found in automobiles.

In all the reviews I read on the Recaro, no one mentioned the seats being hot or making the child sweat. Is this from personal experience?

Someone changed for an alternative seat due to their child getting hot in one review I read. They put it down to the material. Just wanted to see if anyone else has the same issue.

Seems not.

Here's a pic of one of the Graco seats in the car when I was rocking the rear facing setup on the driver side. Thankfully the shoe marks on the back of the seat wipe right off. Oh, and I have the rare, but desirable IS-F - MINIVAN EDITION!

Thumbs up on the Graco - I have the top of the line version with even more head protection. It fits in the F well. I wish the built-in cup holder was on the other side as every inch counts when having the kid climb thru the small rear door opening but overall very happy.

I have the limited edition Recaro Proride convertible and my son has no complaints. I have switch to another brand because he no longer fits in the recaro.

How big is that? My son is 6 months old, 20 lbs, and 30", so he's growing pretty fast. I'm expecting to get a few years out of the Recaro since it says up to 70 lbs (although the LATCH retainer isn't rated for 70 lbs).

its pretty big Lance. so if u are rear facing the front seat will probably have to move all the way up. facing forward u will have more clearance but not much. let me check if I have a picture of it in the car.
