Default Need help choosing an exhaust..

Just ordered a JOE Z Intake and air filter now... JOE Z Exhaust Or ISS FORGED? I'm aware that ISS forge is discontinued. Can't decide, they both sound beautiful. I love a deep and loud clean sound, but ISS is a little raspy. I don't know if Joe Z will be a lot louder compared to stock.. I really hope it is though. I don't really mind drone, since i'm single Does anyone with a JOE Z PTS exhaust know how loud am i expecting from a stock exhaust(lexus IS F)

The JoeZ is indeed a beautifully constructed exhaust. But, if it were me, i's wait for the new Dual Mode PPE exhaust that is expected within then next month or so.

+1 for Lou's recommadation! I would get one if i didn't have my Borla already...

for OP.... If you want something cost less, Borla is a good opinion too. It doesn't looks as shinny as the JoeZ, but I assure you that the quality is top notch as well. Prefect fitment and easy installation. Alot of ISF owners believe it is slightly quiet and less drone compare to ISS and joeZ.
let us know what you get!

You'll be happy with the Joe-Z, just adding the exhaust won't make a huge difference... wait til you get headers

Is that true? I've seen tons of complaints about the Borla droning.

Joe Z is definitely a big step up from stock. Beautiful sound, no drone trust me that was my main concern I couldn't be happier. +1 for Joe Z.

You can't go wrong with either option. I'm intrigued to see how the PPE exhaust will fare with the popular choices the OP is thinking of purchasing. Honestly, the Joe Z exhaust still puts a wonderful grin on my face even before I drive the F. The deep growl alone never gets old.

Glad to see there's a thread about this already. I was gonna get the Meisterschaft GTC controlled exhaust. But they want an arm, leg and first born child for that exhaust. So im thinking Joe-Z. My question though, how is that exhaust on the freeway when you're cruising? Is it pretty quiet? Tolerable for hours of driving?

You'll get some rumble but it can be controlled to literally no sound. IMO u can't go wrong with this exhaust.

Can you get the Joe Z exhaust with the tips like the ISS Forged come with? I called ISS yesterday and he wants $3k for the DES Exhaust!!!! I like the sound of both but prefer the look of the ISS….

It is suprising how few systems replace the fake tips.

Ever hear of the term..

"If it ain't broken, don't fix it..."

Also, the exhaust tips are on the mufflers..
The bumper has stacked exhaust diffusers

Great thread
