I'm in the market for another V8 as well... but need more of a family SUV. Escalade, Tahoe, any other recommendations? Need something reliable, but doubt there's anything out there that's as reliable as the F.

LOL trucks in general are cheap unless you get into those crazy big raised trucks. SEMA had a whole section dedicated to those types of trucks and I'm sure those owners spend big bucks.

Go look at parts for the R8, now that is what I call expensive, (spoiler is $3k, exhaust is like $6k, body kits you could buy an IS-F!)

P.S. Currently we have a v8 Tundra crew cab with like 160k miles on her, total work truck and it's indestructible! Real work trucks are awesome, no worries about scraping, water, puddles, rain or anything really

If you are looking at trucks like I am now, consider the 2013 Sierra's, GMC is offering $10k rebate off those trucks since new body style is out in 2014. Also the new Tundra is amazing. Skip the Escalade, all bling and super tiny 3rd row seats make it ridiculous at the price they want. For the Caddy price range, you would be silly not to look at the Infiniti QX56/QX80 renamed. We also have an ML/RX and planning to ditch one for the QX in the near future when kids get bigger.

Very nice looking!

Family stuff, house stuff, home depot stuff.

I daily drive the Yukon now. Its like driving a couch to work! Plus now I can see traffic better. Gas mileage is about as bad as the F was.

I am DDing my truck...at least over the winter. I am commuting a lot and didn't want to drive the ISF through DC traffic daily...so I bought an economical 2014 ram 1500 as a DD...lol. The suspension I just put on my truck is an off road race style suspension and the truck now floats over uneven road surfaces. It is more comfortable on I-295 through DC than any other vehicle I've ever been in. Getting the truck as a DD also will allow me to justify a more aggressive setup on my ISF. I'm thinking about switching to light 18x9.5 +45 wheels all around and mounting 275/35R18 (f) & 285/35R18 (r) Michelin PSS tires...we'll see

You don't need to move ANYTHING and still love a truck. As another poster said the benefits are endless:

a) Feels like your living room sofa
b) Unbeatable view
c) King of the Road
d) Nothing to worry about scraping
e) Drive over anything (only danger here is you have to watch running over pedestrians

We work with the FDA and NIH. Any time I need to drive to MD from Farifax I sure a **** will be taking the truck now.

I've used mine to clean out stuff from the garage to take to the city landfill, pick up a new couch and love seat, and get landscaping materials/equipment for my backyard. This is all in the 6 weeks that I've had it. It's great having a truck!
