A recent experience I had may be able to support that.
I'm still experimenting with A/C OFF
The other day, everything was OFF i.e. no set TEMP shown in the display, so no blower.
Air distribution was showing as Face
When I got up to speed, the air distribution mode changed from FACE to FACE & FEET
I was surprised.
How and why does it do that when everything is OFF and no TEMP is set ?
It (HVAC) seems to have a life of its own.
